sale. Please ask to see the new museum for Jim 'Catfish' Hunter', Hall of Fame baseball native son, located in the chamber building.

Missing Mill Park
Located just a few walking blocks from downtown Hertford, Missing Mill Park
offers a nature boardwalk, picnic tables, canoe launch and fishing pier. The park pavillion can be reserved for private use such as family reunions, etc. by calling 252-426-1969. The park also now has wonderful new playground equipment.

Periauger: An 18th Century Sailing Vessel
A long lost colonial sailing vessel docked in Hertford Harbor. The
double masted 30-foot boat is a reproduction of the most common colonial workboat.
Perquimans Village and Ben Hobbs Furniture
Stop by and explore the collection of pre-Civil War buildings that Ben and
Jackie Hobbs have collected assembled on their country property. Ben, a renowned
furniture maker, offers regular weeklong classes in furniture making.
