A wide selection of locally crafted items for sale. Please ask to see the new museum for Jim 'Catfish' Hunter', Hall of Fame baseball native son, located in the chamber building.

Perquimans Antique Trail

Missing Mill Park
Located just a few walking blocks from downtown Hertford, Missing Mill Park offers a nature boardwalk, picnic tables, canoe launch and fishing pier. The park pavillion can be reserved for private use such as family reunions, etc. by calling 252-426-1969. The park also now has wonderful new playground equipment.

Periauger: An 18th Century Sailing Vessel
A long lost colonial sailing vessel docked in Hertford Harbor. The double masted 30-foot boat is a reproduction of the most common colonial workboat.

Perquimans Village and Ben Hobbs Furniture
Stop by and explore the collection of pre-Civil War buildings that Ben and Jackie Hobbs have collected assembled on their country property. Ben, a renowned furniture maker, offers regular weeklong classes in furniture making.
